Veterinarians

Dr. Melanie Keller
Dr. Melanie Keller opened Simpsonville Animal Hospital in 2015 with a goal of providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Dr. Keller has been practicing in Simpsonville since graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and has fallen in love with the people and pets of the Upstate. Dr. Keller's areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. When not in the clinic, Dr. Keller actively pursues continuing education opportunities to further her knowledge to better serve her patients. Dr. Keller is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater Greenville Veterinary Medical Association.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Keller is kept very busy with her husband and two children (Grace and Jackson), her Cavalier Spaniel (Ruby), and multiple reptiles.


Dr. Karen Bowman
Dr. Karen Bowman joined the Simpsonville Animal Hospital team in 2018. Dr. Bowman is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and practiced in Virginia and Ohio prior to settling in Simpsonville in 2005. Dr. Bowman loves all animals, but has a special soft spot for cats (she is affectionately called a Crazy Cat Lady by many). Dr. Bowman's area of interest is internal medicine, especially feline medicine. Dr. Bowman is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
While away from the hospital, she enjoys the hectic life of a soccer mom, traveling to national parks, and spending time with her husband and son. Doctor Bowman also shares her home with many sweet feline friends.
Dr. Meghan Allen
Dr. Meghan Allen joined the Simpsonville Animal Hospital team in 2018. Dr. Allen received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, and attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Allen has been practicing in the Greenville area since her graduation in 2013, and loves this part of the South. Dr. Allen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
While away from the hospital, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time at lakes and hiking with her husband, two sons (Bodhi and Camden), and Boxer (Ellie).

Dr. Kalie Hopkins
Dr. Kalie Hopkins joined the Simpsonville Animal Hospital team in 2022. Dr. Hopkin's received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, and attended Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Simpsonville and is excited to return home to plant roots. Dr. Hopkins has an interest in dermatology, which will greatly serve our many itchy patients. Dr. Hopkins is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
While away from the hospital, Dr. Hopkins enjoys spending with her family, cats and dogs!
Dr. Jonathan Blanton
Dr. Blanton joined the Simpsonville Animal Hospital team in 2021. Full bio coming soon.
Practice Manager

Wanda
Wanda joined the Simpsonville Animal Hospital Team in 2019. Wanda is a licensed veterinary technician that has been in the veterinary field since 2005. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but believes the client/patient bond is the most important. Wanda is excited to be a part of the Simpsonville Animal Hospital family, and is looking forward to building strong relationships with our clients and patients.
When away from the hospital, Wanda enjoys time with her fiancé and three dogs. Wanda is a Green Bay Packers superfan!
Client Service Representatives

Jessica
Jessica has been charming our clients at SAH since 2017. She enjoys connecting with and serving our clients. Her favorite part of the day is sloppy kisses from all our patients. When she is not focused on serving our clients, she enjoys puppy snuggles from her sweet Maltese (Sadie) and Golden Retriever (Lewie).

Alicia
Alicia has been greeting clients at SAH since 2019. Alicia loves being able to help our clients and team. When away from the clinic, she enjoys family time, Clemson sports, and time with her cat (Steve).

Taylor
Taylor joined the SAH team in 2021. She enjoys caring for our hospitalized patients during their stay. When away from the clinic, Taylor enjoys time with her fiancé, friends, and four dogs.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians

Hannah J
Hannah J joined the SAH team in 2020 after completing her technician student externship with us. Hannah has graduated from the veterinary technician program, and passed her boards fall 2021!

Adeline
Adeline is a licenced veterinary technician that joined SAH in 2018. When not at the clinic, Adeline can likely be found under the hood of a nearby Jeep, with her Boxer, or with one of her many cats.

Jessica T.
Jessica T is a licensed veterinary technician that started with SAH completing her veterinary technician externship in 2019. In her away time, Jessica enjoys hiking, fishing, and snuggling with her chihuahuas.

Hannah C.
Hannah C. joined the SAH team in 2019 and has embraced the dual role of veterinary assistant and client service representative. Her gentle demeanor helps calm the anxious patients we see. In her time away, Hannah enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her friends.

Morgan
Morgan started at SAH with an internship as a veterinary assistant in 2019, and decided to officially join our team upon graduation. Morgan is now pursuing her degree to become a licensed veterinary technician. Morgan enjoys time with her two cats and traveling.

Trichia
Trichia joined SAH in the 2018. She has been in the veterinary field for more than 30 years. Originally from Long Island, New York, she has been in the South for over 20 years. When not at the hospital, Trichia enjoys spending time with her husband, two wonderful children, Golden Retriever (Comet), and two cats

Maya
Maya joined our team as a veterinary technician student in 2021, and will have become a license veterinary technician in this Fall! Maya's skill of being fluent in Spanish is a wonderful gift to assist some of our clients. She brings joy to our patients and always has a smile on her face. Maya has three dogs and a cat, and enjoys visiting family in Colombia.

Colleen
Colleen joined SAH in 2017. She loves to care for animals and develop a strong bond with each pet and their family.
In her spare time, Colleen enjoys tending her garden and canning. She spends her time with her husband, two hounds (Dexter and Crunch), and her rescue cats (Yoshi and Daisy).
